It's a gift for an Art Exchange in the Brazilian forum Endestadt. My secret friend is Beiah, but I don't know if she have an account here :/
In this exchange, the person didn't asked for anything, their secret friend had to discover what does they like and make the doll ^^
Well, I took a look on her facebook and discovered that she likes cute things, giraffes and astronomy/universe. (:
Hope she likes it.

This is a very nice piece and I'm sure she will be so pleased with it! The giraffe is really good considering I think they are probably a really difficult animal to just get their outlines right let alone their anatomy!
Cute glasses too and love the detail in the hair, it almost looks like parts are highlighted!

I've never drawn a giraffe before, I'm happy with tha anatomy, but I don't like the colors, I should have used more contrast :/

Maybe but then it might take away the detail from the doll since it has darker hues, the giraffe still has shading and not flat as a viewer. It it be the pattern that you're not comfortable with? Or is it really the yellow and white that you feel needs contrast?

I guess the dark colour drowned it :<, it doesn't change it much and if anything it's not even noticeable :D.
